Read this once. It's small.

Open to legal residents of the United States who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of the Numbers Man Pot team, members of their immediate households, and any other person connected with the operation of this sweepstakes are not eligible. The same U.S. state allowlist that gates paid checkout and the no-purchase form is enforced here; entries from jurisdictions where this type of promotion is restricted or prohibited are void. Where prohibited by law, this sweepstakes is void in whole or in part as required.

Numbers Man Pot is operated by the Numbers Man Pot team — the same team that ships the day-to-day site at tallypot-2.polsia.app. Questions, complaints, opt-out requests, and the long-running mail-in fallback all go to tallypot-2@polsia.app. We read every message and reply within two business days.

Numbers Man Pot is a daily sweepstakes. One draw runs each evening at 9:00 PM ET — that is the daily cut-off for paid entries, free entries, and mail-in entries alike. Any ticket whose record is on file before the cut-off belongs to that evening's draw; anything submitted after the cut-off belongs to the next evening's draw. The pool reopens every day at midnight Eastern Time, and the cycle repeats with no off-season.

Source of truth: the cut-off is 21:00 in Eastern Time.

Path A — paid. Buy a $1.10 ticket for today's draw at /buy. Each ticket is one entry; the page lets you buy more than one at a time. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card. U.S. state allowlist is enforced at checkout.

Path B — free. Submit the no-purchase form at /free-entry. No payment of any kind is required, none will be requested. Equal odds means equal odds — your free entry rides the same draw as paid tickets and has the same chance to be drawn.

Mail-in fallback. A long-running mail-in option remains open as a backstop: send your full name, date of birth, mailing address, and email to tallypot-2@polsia.app and we will record one entry per legible submission for that day's draw.

Refer-a-friend. A signed-in member can pass their own link at /refer to a friend. If the friend signs up using that link, the day's draw still runs the same way — the same 80/10/10 split, the same odds — but both the referrer and the new sign-up get a bonus free entry queued for the next available draw. The bonus entries ride the same window as paid tickets and free entries; they do NOT change the day's split or pool size.

One ticket is selected at random each evening from the day's pool. Tickets are numbered in the order they were recorded, and a single uniformly random integer between 1 and N is drawn. The ticket whose ordinal matches that integer wins. N is the total ticket count in today's pool — that is the figure you see in the "Odds right now" card above this page, refreshed every three seconds.

Because paid and free entries both count toward N — they ride the same draw at equal odds — every additional ticket in the day, paid or free, increases the pool and improves the chance of being drawn on a per-entry basis. The card above shows N live; if N is zero, the pool just opened and your chance awaits the day's tickets.

The selection is publicly verifiable. The day's ticket rows are read in createdAt order and walked one-by-one; the same algorithm runs the public reveal at /draw. Tomorrow's pool opens at midnight Eastern Time, and the cycle repeats.

Every evening, the day's pot is split three ways:

• 80% to the holder of the drawn winning ticket.
• 10% to Numbers Man Pot (the operator) — to keep the site running, handle payments, and pay the team.
• 10% floats into the next-day pot — the starting bankroll for tomorrow's draw.

No second-place consolation, no rollover cliff, no hidden skim. The payout is computed as eighty percent of the day's total — rounded down to the nearest cent — and mailed the morning after a claim is verified.

The prize is taxable income to the winner. Any federal, state, and local tax owed on a Numbers Man Pot payout is the winner’s responsibility — we do not withhold, and a Numbers Man Pot prize does not change any other tax you owe. If the prize meets or exceeds the then-current IRS reporting threshold for prize awards at the time of payout, we file Form 1099-MISC with the IRS and send the winner a copy, as the operator of the sweepstakes. The winner settles the tax with the IRS (and with their state’s tax authority, where applicable) at filing time.

Because the threshold and the form can be revised by the IRS, this section refers to the “then-current” figure rather than pinning a literal dollar amount in the rules text — the dollar number moves; the disclosure-grade commit does not.

Each draw runs at the daily cut-off (9:00 PM ET) and is publicly revealed at /draw. The winning ticket id and winner's first initial appear on the page; the full entry is private. If your ticket is drawn, we email you the next morning with claim instructions. Payment is mailed once you reply with proof of identity and a current mailing address. Allow up to four weeks for delivery.

This sweepstakes is void in whole or in part where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win; a free entry of equal odds is available to anyone who would rather not pay. The odds of winning depend on the number of entries received for the applicable daily drawing.

We collect only what we need to run this draw and to pay a winner — name, date of birth, email, mailing address, and (for paid entries) a Stripe receipt id. We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to any third party for marketing. You can ask us to delete your record at any time by emailing tallypot-2@polsia.app.
